“BIG have been extremely creative in organising the event and I’m confident it will be a huge success.”
There will also be food available during the afternoon from local providers, including a barbecue in Queen’s Road Methodist Church.
Local businesses including, Boutique Dental 23, Special Days, All Planned Print and Design and Inspiring healthy lifestyles have sponsored the event and BIG have contributed £2,000 themselves from fundraising activities over the past few months.
Amy Napier, chair of BIG said: “Over the last three years, we have arranged a number of activities at different points in the year, including Halloween, Easter and Christmas but we’ve never done something in the summer.
“We have worked tirelessly over the past few months to gather the funding and support needed to give our children the opportunity to take part in some really interactive and enjoyable activities. We’re looking forward to enjoying the day and seeing as many people there as possible.”
Keira Weathers, 2015 X Factor finalist, will open the show on the Wish FM stage followed by a number of other artists.
