Photo: Bee there… Residents are welcome to join St Helens Council’s Ranger Service and Lancashire Wildlife Trust Bee Officer, Ben Hargreaves, at safaris in Sankey Valley Country Park and Stanley Bank Meadow, and Bankes Park this month.

Get a buzz out of two free Bee Safari events taking place in St Helens this month.

Residents are welcome to join St Helens Council’s Ranger Service and Lancashire Wildlife Trust Bee Officer, Ben Hargreaves, at safaris in Sankey Valley Country Park and Stanley Bank Meadow, and Bankes Park, to find out about the types of bees found in our local parks and the vital role the vibrant insects play in our ecosystems.

Sunday 10 July – Sankey Valley Country Park and Stanley Bank Meadow, 1:00pm start from the Heritage Visitor Centre

Wednesday 27 July – Bankes Park, 1:00pm start from the car park
