If you are a West Lancashire Borough Council commercial tenant struggling to pay your rent because of the Coronavirus Pandemic we are keen to help. There is detailed advice on the Business Support area of our website at www.westlancs.gov.uk/covid19businesssupport and we will be writing to all tenants over the next few days.
We are able to offer up to a three month payment holiday for tenants who are in financial difficulty as a result of the outbreak and will allow for the deferment of payments without financial penalty.
This is in addition to the grant assistance of up to £25,000 being provided via the Council to businesses who receive small business rate relief or rural rate relief and eligible businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sector.

We would ask any tenant who is struggling to get in touch as soon as they can so we can see what support we can put in place for them.”
