Get on down and support your local club as they look to gain promotion. Fans supporting Foodbank @JMO This Saturday
SATURDAY 12TH MARCH @JMO – Charnock Richard
Skelmersdale United will take to the field on Saturday for their 1,000th North West League encounter and it couldn’t be bigger as they face current 4th place side Charnock Richard. Charnock are currently 9 points behind United but have 3 games in hand, so a win is a must for the blues.
We are urging the locals to come out in force and give the lads your backing as they look to secure promotion back to the Northern Premier League.
Three wins in the last three games of the season will secure at least a Play-off spot, Manager Paul McNally has said “the support this season has been tremendous, and it shows with our home performances, there have been a number of times that the vocal backing has given us that edge and enabled us to go on to win games. We need that kind of support this weekend, please get down and show the lads the support they deserve”.
United will have two League games after Saturday, they travel to Litherland REMYCA on 19th March and are at Home for the last league game of the season, when they entertain Lower Breck on 2nd April.
Meanwhile United will travel to Atherton Laburnum Rovers on Tuesday for the first round of the North West Counties League Cup.

CLUB SHOP/UNITED LOTTO
Don’t forget to call into the club shop on match days to pick up your club colours and whilst there why not have a go at the Skem Utd lotto. This week’s jackpot is a not too shabby £260, all you do is pick 6 numbers from 1-19, it’s a quid and you get two attempts. It all helps the club funds and could help your pockets.
