Walton Hall and Gardens will host their free annual Country Fayre 11am – 4.30pm on Sunday 13 September, as part of the fantastic Warrington Festival 2015.

The fayre will offer something for everyone to enjoy, including the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team, Savage Skills, performing some jaw dropping stunts and feats as this year’s headlining act. Other attractions include the West Lancashire Dog Display Team, a 1940s-style football match, a classic car show, narrowboat rides on the Bridgewater Canal and a children’s entertainer.

There will also be demonstrations of traditional rural crafts, including basket weaving, wood turning, rope tying and saddle making. Food and refreshments will be available from gourmet hot food stalls and a traditional farmers market.

Local bands and performers will provide live entertainment throughout the day, including the folk band ‘Folk That and Friends’, the pop band ‘Loor a Los Heroes’ and harpist Andy Anderson.

Cllr Kate Hannon, executive member for leisure, community and culture said: “The country fayre is a great day out for all the family. It’s become Walton Hall’s most popular event and I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy all that is on offer at this fantastic Country Fayre.”

Entrance to the fayre is free, parking at the event will cost £3.20 for the full day.
