0

Families can browse through a wide range of fabulous goods and enjoy exciting games and entertainment at the fabulous Vintage and Handmade Fair on Ormskirk MotorFest day on Sunday 30 August.

For those looking for creative activities there will plenty of demonstrations and an opportunity to have a go at using a potter’s wheel.

Don’t miss the opportunity to also visit the West Lancashire Open Exhibition, showcasing 134 individual artworks, displaying a variety of media and extraordinary talent.

The Fair will be a great extra attraction on the day of the marvellous MotorFest, which is already one of the biggest and best free family days out in the north west. Over 350 wonderful cars and motorcycles from all eras of motoring will be on display in Ormskirk town centre and Coronation Park at this marvellous event.  Many of the vehicles will also take part in parade laps.

A great variety of stalls are planned for the fair at the Chapel Gallery and on Ormskirk Bus Station car park. Charlie Chaplin will be entertaining the crowd and lots more exciting family activities are planned, plus free face painting so make sure you don’t miss this extra treat on MotorFest day.

As well as the fabulous cars and vintage stalls, Skelmersdale Brass Band will be performing in Coronation Park between 2pm and 4pm on the day to add to the family entertainment.

A few opportunities are still available for makers of vintage, handmade, recycled and upcycled goods to have stalls at the vintage fair. Maybe you have collections of Matchbox or Dinky toys ranging from steam rollers to sports cars, or vintage transport memorabilia? Then this is the event for you to show or sell your collections. For more details please contact the Chapel Gallery on 01695 571328 or email chapel.gallery@westlancs.gov.uk.
