St Helens Council’s Children’s Centres have announced their summer schedule of events.
With fun family activity events, regular baby group sessions and parenting drop-ins, there’s plenty to get involved in at your local centre.
There are eight of them across the borough – offering a bumper package of fun, support and childcare services for families with children aged up to five years old and parents-to-be, regardless of financial circumstances or social backgrounds.
Sue Murphy, Cabinet Member for Children, Families and Young People, said: “The emphasis is on fun, but behind it all is the promotion of learning, play and getting children ready to start school.
“There are a variety of activities on offer that help families to use their imaginations and play together. Many families have told us that the experience has given their confidence a real boost.”
