Southport Gymnastics Club are looking for help from people who would like to help the next generation of gymnasts. The club are looking for individuals or businesses, who are looking to support local charities or community projects, who are aware of any funds, grants or match funding which may be available which the club could be eligible for. Alternatively if people would like to get involved and help to raise funds through sponsored events then they would be much needed!
The gymnastics club, which was formed in 1973, is the biggest provider of a single sport in the local region, with 1300 young people aged between 3 and 25 having access to an elite level facility and highly qualified coaches on a weekly basis. Southport Gymnastics Club are looking to raise funds of £350,000 which will enable them to purchase the building which the club is currently in and would secure gymnastics in Southport for future generations of gymnasts. The club have already got a fantastic match funding offer for money raised by Christmas 2016, to the value of £50,000, so this would mean that if this amount is raised the club would be almost one third of the way towards their goal.
Donations can be accepted online too. Thank you so much for the support you have already given the club and please do get in touch with any ideas. mydonate.bt.com/charities/southportgymnasticsclub
