Popular vehicle rally returns to Astley Park

People looking for a great day out can get excited as a popular vehicle rally returns to Chorley.

Lancashire Vehicle Club will host their annual Lancashire Vehicle Club Rally at Astley Park on Sunday 13 May with support from Chorley Council.

On the day, visitors will be able to see a wide range of unique vehicles on display along the lawns in front of Astley Hall.

Rebecca Huddleston, Director of Policy and Governance at Chorley Council said: “The Lancashire Vehicle Club Rally is a great event and has always been very popular amongst people in Chorley and from further afield.

“The Lancashire Vehicle Club will park their vehicles in Astley Park for members of the public to see.

“The event is a great day out for everyone, especially car enthusiasts, and we hope to see plenty of people attending again this year.”

The Silver School of Arms will also be at the event and will be discussing their work with members of the public as well as giving small demonstrations of their historical swordplay.

Plus, there will be a traditional ice cream tricycle in Astley Park so families can enjoy a tasty treat.

The Lancashire Vehicle Club Rally will take place in Astley Park, Chorley on Sunday 13 May and cars will be parked from 11am-4pm. The event will be fun for all the family and is free to attend.
