October fun at Clitheroe Castle Museum

0

October promises to be a fun time for children at Clitheroe Castle Museum with many exciting activities on offer.

Activities range from making your own Halloween finger puppet to spotting the toy witches as night falls at the museum.

Other events include a competition to find mini witches and wizards hiding around the museum and listening to the spooky storyteller telling stories suitable for all ages.

County Councillor Marcus Johnstone, cabinet member for environment, planning and cultural services, said: “We’ve got so many enjoyable and different activities throughout the month.

“Many of the activities are suitable for all ages. Children can certainly learn through taking part and we’ve also got events that adult visitors would enjoy.

“There’s something for everyone, whatever the weather.”

Booking a place is required for some of the activities and costs usually apply to take part.

Admission is £4.20 for adults, £3.10 for concessions. Young people aged 13 to 18 and accompanied children up to the age of 12 go free.

Limited car parking is available for disabled visitors.
