Information appeal made after man is stabbed in Preston

An appeal for information has been made by police following a man being stabbed in Preston. Police received a call by the ambulance service at about 1:45pm on Friday 19th June, to a report of a man having been stabbed in the arm at an address on Brixton Road.

The victim, who is a 32 year old local man, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by ambulance, where he is being treated for his injuries. The man is in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

An investigation has been launched by police and enquiries are on-going. Police officers are keen to talk to anybody who saw a black coloured car drive off from the address following the incident.
