Information appeal made after female cyclist is involved in a collision with a motorbike in Wallasey

An appeal for information has been made by Merseyside Police after a female cyclist was involved in a collision with a motorbike on Leasowe Road, Wallasey. The incident occurred at about 10:30pm on Wednesday 16th September 2015, in which the 60 year old cyclist suffered serious injuries to her back, knees and pelvis.

The woman’s injuries are life changing, but they are not thought to be life threatening.

The motorcyclist, a 19 year old male, stopped at the scene and he is helping the police with their enquiries.

Leasowe Road was closed for two hours so that police officers were able to carry out their investigations.
