Concourse Shopping Centre’s Halloween Event

Millie Evans picks up her award for Best Dressed Child from Anne Peters, Interim Retail marketing Manager at the Concourse Shopping Centre and two host form Angel’s Children’s Parties

The Concourse Shopping Centre’s Halloween ‘spooktacular’ party went down a storm on Saturday, with a devilish disco, freaky face painting, and fiendish photo booth fun – plus amazing entertainment from our party hosts Angels Children’s Parties!

From 12pm – 2pm, the ground floor atrium in the centre was transformed into a Mini Monster Mash. Witches, wizards, ghouls and ghosts were out in force in search of plenty of tricks and treats, and combined with the ‘creepy’ crafts from JanCraftyPots, plus special appearances from the North West Comic Con and Empire Cinema Wigan, it was a ‘fangtastic’ two hours of free Halloween fun for both kids and adults alike.

Anne Peters, Interim Retail Marketing Manager said “Halloween is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some family fun and we wanted to be able to give local children a place where they could show off their fantastic costumes and enjoy everything that is great about Halloween. Fun was the order of the day as we encouraged children and parents to don their creepiest costumes and get into the spooky spirit to make this event a real scream!

There we some ‘frighteningly good’ prizes too for the best Halloween costumes. Millie Evans picked up the award of the best dressed child, as well as a £20 gift voucher kindly donated by Wilko’s, wowing the judges with her amazing costume and face painting. The best dressed adult award winner won a free cut and finish with our friends at Trimmers.

And the prizes didn’t stop there, we asked shoppers to post their scary selfie they had taken in the photo booth on Facebook to be in with a chance of winning £50 worth of Concourse Shopping Vouchers. Winner will be announced on Wednesday 1st November.
