Canine Capers 2015

St Helens Council’s Dog Welfare and Enforcement team invites you to a day of family fun pooch pampering, as the borough-wide Canine Capers road-show comes to Haresfinch Park on 20 June from 12pm – 3:30pm.

There’ll be a delightful and daring Dog Display team, free dog nail-clipping offered by Pooches Grooming Salon, face painting and lots of free competitions with prizes donated by Purina, Tesco and Jollyes Pet Food stores, as well as advice on caring for your canine, free pet health checks by Medivets and a sled team of gorgeous Husky dogs.

The Dog Welfare and Enforcement team are also offering a free microchipping service. Dog owners are encouraged to take advantage of this ahead of changes in legislation due in April 2016, which will make it a legal requirement for all dogs from eight weeks of age to be microchipped.
