Partner agencies across Knowsley have come together to help residents get online and know what services they can access through online channels.
On Wednesday, 27 September 2017 between 10am and 2pm, the first in a series of roadshows will take place at Whiston Town Hall on Old Colliery Road, Whiston, L35 3QX.
The aim of the roadshow is to ensure residents know what they can do online and how they can access the agencies that they have regular contact with. This enables them to contact agencies at a date and time to suit them, from a location to suit them, as well as it being free, easy and quick – you won’t get stuck in a queue!
Examples on how you can do things online rather than phone or attend in person including booking a GP appointment, reporting dog fouling or a faulty street light as well as requesting support for repairs in your home (registered social landlords).
Plus if you need help getting online, a range of digital skills courses are available to help you take your first steps – many of which are free to attend. Knowsley’s Family and Community Education Service will be on-hand to find a course to suit your needs.
Come along for your chance to win a food hamper – collect your free raffle ticket at the event. Good luck!
