5K returns to Crosby Lakeside with Added Euro 2016 Twist

0

Sefton Council has announced the plans for this year’s 5K run at Crosby Lakeside, including England v Slovakia on a BIG SCREEN.

The challenge, open to individuals or teams of 5, will see competitors run a double lap around the idyllic setting of Crosby Coastal Park, before settling down for a BBQ and the final Euro 2016 Group B game for the Three Lions.

Competitors can run, walk or stroll at their leisure to complete the race and bottled water will be provided.

The bar and bistro will also be fully operational and open to purchase food and drinks throughout the event, meaning spectators can ensure that the pre-match festivities are well underway before the end of the race.

The 10th Annual Active Workforce 5K Challenge takes place on Monday, June 20 at Crosby Lakeside.

The cost for team entry is £35 and £7 for individual entries. All entries must be received by Monday, June 13.

Participants are also able to raise money for a chosen charity.

In order to register, residents can visit the Active Workforce website, complete the entry form and return to:
