Legend – A tribute to Bob Marley and The Wailers are performing a concert in Wigan. The concert is on at The Old Courts, Crawford Street in Wigan on Saturday 30th April at 8pm.

Legend are dedicated to the life and music of the late, great Bob Marley. There is support at the concert from The Hicks.

Legend are a dynamic band who are led by the charismatic Michael Anton Phillips (Cheesy), who have got a pedigree which is second to none. The band’s members have worked with reggae greats such as The Mighty Diamonds, Dennis Brown, Rankin Roger, The Beat, George and Desmond Decker and many many more.

Tickets for the concert are £12 or £14 on the door. The event is 14 years of age and over.

Paul Maiden, the concert’s promoter, has said that he is ‘really looking forward to this show taking place at the Old Courts in Wigan’. Paul has also commented upon the authenticity and pedigree of the band whose front man Michael Anton Philips (Cheesy) and other band members have worked with Musical Youth, The Beat, Burning Spear, The Mighty Diamonds and George and Desmond Decker.
